LOS ANGELES — The Celtics’ Kendrick Perkins is out for Thursday’s Game 7 in the NBA Finals against the Lakers after suffering a “sprain” to both his medial collateral ligament and posterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in the first quarter of Game 6, an injury that is likely to result in a worse diagnosis after they run him through an MRI machine. He was the starting center for both the 2008 champions and this season’s squad, so this might seem like a huge blow for Boston.
